How to enjoy your large pillar candle

With larger beeswax pillars, the first few burns are essential to set a deep, even burn pool. Follow this simple guide for best results:

First burn: 2 hours
Second burn: 4 hours
Thereafter: Burn for 3 hours or longer each time to keep the wax pool wide and even.

Once your candle’s burn pool reaches the edges, it will burn evenly and cleanly, filling your room with a soft amber glow that lasts for days.

Burning beeswax properly ensures longevity, prevents tunnelling, and honours the precious resource gifted by the bees.

For large pillar candles (7.5 cm diameter × 12 cm height)

Begin with a 2-hour first burn, then a 4-hour second burn. Once the burn pool forms, continue burning for at least 3 hours each session. This helps the wax melt evenly and supports the candle’s natural structure.

Other candle styles

Mini pillars require at least one hour per burn. Beehive and dinner taper candles can be burned freely; simply trim the wick to 6 mm before lighting.

Wick care

Dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish and stand upright again — this primes it for the next burn.
Keep wicks trimmed to 6 mm. Remove any mushroom top between burns.
Avoid burning in drafts or direct breeze to maintain brightness and longevity.

Safety first

Burn on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface.

Apart from the beautiful packaging, the product is great. I can almost feel it supporting me, helping my body to vibrate differently. I have experimented with different things added to it, (honey is too much for me), but I find if I use a teaspoon of organic maple syrup, it is just fine.
