DRINKING CACAO RECIPES

3 fun and creative ceremonial grade cacaos for drinking all year round!

Minty Matcha Cacao:

Combine 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon of ceremonial grade cacao finely grated or chopped, 1 teaspoon of matcha powder, and 1 teaspoon of mint extract in a small saucepan.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cacao is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Pour the cacao into a mug and enjoy!

Chai Spiced Cacao:

Combine 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk, 1 tablespoon of ceremonial grade cacao finely grated or chopped, 1 teaspoon of chai spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves), and 1 teaspoon of honey in a small saucepan.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cacao is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Pour the cacao into a mug and enjoy!

Mocha Cacao:

Combine 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon of ceremonial grade cacao finely grated or chopped, 1 teaspoon of instant coffee, and 1 teaspoon of honey in a small saucepan.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cacao is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and frothy.

Pour the cacao into a mug and enjoy!
