18 Inch Shamanic Deer Skin Drum | Hand-Made in Australia

This 18 inch shamanic deer skin drum is a Native American–style, hand-held hoop drum, made by hand in Australia with an Australian pine hoop and deer skin. Each one is one of a kind, comes with its own decorated beater, and is smudged and blessed in ceremony before it reaches you.

With an 18 inch hoop, this is the largest of our three drum sizes, a big, bold drum face for those who want a substantial instrument for ceremony and group work.

Please note: this drum includes free shipping and is sent separately from the rest of your Spirit of Cacao order.

The maker

Every drum is made by Judy, who has been making drums since 1996. Judy is a medicine woman with a gift for bringing each person's own energy through into the drum she makes for them, so no two are alike.

Why drum?

The drum is a way of connecting with the heartbeat of the Earth Mother, and of awakening ourselves and others as we play. Drums have a life and personality of their own. Yours may help you feel centred, and can be used as a tool for connecting with higher wisdom in the spiritual realm.
