SUPERFEAST Jing Blend is a 10:1 extract powder of six Daoist tonic herbs, including cordyceps, eucommia and goji, sourced Di Dao from herb-producing regions of China. It comes in a 100g Miron glass jar or a 250g refill pouch.

Jing, often translated as essence, is a central idea in the Daoist herbal tradition, and Jing herbs are among its most revered. This blend is one of the classic combinations of the East. It was also the very first SUPERFEAST blend we tried, and it is still a regular in our own kitchen.

Cordyceps sinensis (cordyceps), Eucommia ulmoides (eucommia), Lycium barbarum (goji), Asparagus cochinchinensis (asparagus root), Cistanche salsa (cistanche), Rehmannia glutinosa (rehmannia). 10:1 extract, Di Dao sourced.

Taste and how to use

Jing has a taste that is strangely close to coffee, but not quite. It is pleasant on its own in hot water, though we love it in our cacao.

We love it stirred into a warm or iced cup of ceremonial cacao to start the day, or as part of your meditation, personal ceremony, or the work you do in sound healing, yoga, bodywork and energy work. Shop all our ceremonial grade cacao.

Before you use it

• Use with caution if you have diarrhoea due to Spleen deficiency. QI Blend is often taken in combination with Jing in these cases.
