Small Beeswax Pillar Candle | 100% Pure Australian Beeswax 270g

Experience the gentle glow of nature’s finest light. Our Small Beeswax Pillar Candle is handcrafted from 100% pure Australian beeswax, sourced from local apiarists who care for their bees and the land. With a 50 hour burn time and a slow, clean burn, it brings calm and understated luxury to any space.

      Why you will love it

      • Long lasting and clean burning: Beeswax has a high melting point for a slow, drip free burn that holds its shape.
      • Pure and natural: No paraffin, no synthetic fragrance, just pure beeswax and a premium cotton wick.
      • Golden glow and subtle honey aroma: A naturally warm light with a gentle scent straight from the hive.
      • Handcrafted in Australia: Ethically sourced beeswax from local beekeepers who prioritise bee health and sustainability.

      Candle care

To ensure an even burn and prevent tunnelling:

      1. First burn: 2 hours
      2. Second burn: 4 hours
      3. Thereafter: burn for 3 hours or more to support longevity and vibrancy

The naturally higher melting point of beeswax supports a slow burn that does not drip or lose shape. Your candle will burn down evenly until the wick tips over at the base.

      Our promise

From hive to home, we keep our process close to nature with a minimal human footprint. Every candle offers a premium beeswax experience that many call the Rolls Royce of candles. It is our way of honouring the bees and the incredible gift of their wax.

How to burn your beeswax candles

Until we started making beeswax candles, we had never received any instructions about how to burn candles — perhaps you are the same.

As beeswax is such a precious resource from the bees, we make it a priority to educate our customers on how to burn beeswax candles correctly. Proper burning prevents tunnelling, supports even melting, and ensures the full beauty and longevity of your candle — right until the wick naturally falls over at the end.

      For 7.5cm diameter pillar candles

To prevent tunnelling and create a lovely burn pool for the 7.5cm pillar candle, burn for 2 hours on the first burn and 4 hours on the second burn. Thereafter, allow the candle to burn for 3 hours or more each time you light it. This includes our Fleur De Lis pillar candle range. Once the burn pool is established, the candle truly comes to life and will thrive when enjoyed for longer periods.

For 4.2cm diameter mini pillar candles

The mini pillar candles are designed for shorter burn sessions. To optimise their longevity, light for a minimum of 1 hour per burn to allow the melt pool to reach the rim and prevent tunnelling. These mini pillars can also be burned for longer — they’ll glow just as beautifully as the larger pillars.

For Beehive and Dinner Taper Candles

These candles can be burned freely and do not require the same preparation as pillar candles. Simply trim the wick to 6mm before each use for a steady flame and clean burn.

      Good candle care

Caring for your wick is key to getting the best performance:

      • When extinguishing, gently dip the wick into the melted wax pool and stand it upright again — this primes it for the next burn.
      • Keep the wick trimmed to 6mm before each burn. If a “mushroom top” appears, simply snap it off with your fingers.
      • For brightness and longevity, avoid burning your candle in direct breeze or draft.

      For safety

      • Always burn candles on a stable, level, non-flammable, heat-resistant surface.
      • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
      • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
      • Burn away from drafts and flammable objects.
      • Handle lit candles with care — wax becomes hot when melted.
